│ it is optional anyways! Then there is the Arena where the │

Meet Peddler Jack in a forest meadow,
and trade gems for potions. Get Max
Hitpoints, Strength, Defense, or Charm
Points. Price is a bargain: 2 Potions
for 3 Gems. Want more? Pay 4 Gems to
see Special Deals. Allows you to buy a
Horse, a Fairy, or Adopt an Orphan.
The IGM allows up to 6 purchases per
visit. Cheating results in player being
beaten up, and tossed out of IGM, with
some other penalties. Users may use IGM
up to 8 times/day - sysop configurable.
All player uses of IGM are tracked via
the player database. Elixirs purchases
each day are limited to maximum of
8,000, also sysop-configurable.
Adoptions are allowed until player has
over 8,000 kids. Up to 10 adoptions
are allowed per player per day, which
is sysop-configurable. The Fairy Trades
allows players to buy 5 Fairies per day.
IGM generates Potions Traders Report as
Tradelst.txt file, when sysop runs the
GEMTRADE REPORT command.
Tested under LORD v3.55, v4.07 beta.

Officially released on July 17th, 2006. DoofEdit was created in August 2005 as an IGM Player Database Editor. It is used to edit edit database records, and has New Day for Player, and Search for Player options. ======================================= This is an IGM version of Gordon Lewicky's GNOME.LDY LORD LADY Script. It is dedicated in memory of Gordon who died in Canada in early July 2005. --------------------------------------- Trade 1 Gem for 3 potions. You can get Max HitPoints, Strength points, Defense Points, or Charm Points. You can make multiple trades such as trading 300 Gems to buy 900 Charm points. Access to the IGM costs one Gem. Each access to Special Deals costs 5 Gems. Players can trade Gems for a Horse, or for Fairy, or for Orphan Children. IGM allows up to 10 visits per day. Payment of extra gems for Fairy may yield some Defense points. She shows up if someone tries to adopt, when they have 12,000+ Kids. ======================================== Players are not allowed to trade Gems for Potions if the requested LORD stat is 32,000+ points. Covers Max Hitpoints, Strength, Defense, Charm Points. Also applies to Defense Points and Forest Fights obtained for Extra Gems paid during a Gems Trade. ======================================= If player gives Extra Gems to Doofus for Horse, Fairy, or in multiple Adoptions session, there is a 50% chance that he will give you some potions for them. If he's grouchy, he TAKES the Extra Gems and player gets nothing in return. ======================================= Horse Bite event. Charm loss is 5%, limited to max of 300 points, when you try to buy a Horse, and you HAVE one. Minimal Charm loss is 20 points, unless player has less than 20 Charm. Fairy Bolt event. HitPoints loss is always 75% when you try to buy a Fairy, and you HAVE one. Explore inside or outside a mysterious,
old, ruined castle that you find in the
forest. Ask the Castle Ghost for favors,
but be careful what you ask for. Being
greedy, when it comes to Fairies, may
cost you YOUR Life! While exploring
outside, you can find Gems, a Horse, or
a Child. Are you brave enough to enter?
Use is limited to 4 adoptions per day.
Player gets 1 event per visit. Sysop
chooses # of daily visits allowed, up to
maximum of 6. And only ONE Fairy may be
obtained per day.
DragonPoop notes: Risk of random event
occuring is 33% for normal IGM uses. It
goes up to 100% when Daily Visits limit
is exceeded. Angel Rescue will occur
only ONE time per day - and is limited
to Level 1-4 players.
Experience Points rewards for entire
IGM are limited as follows: Dragon Poop
reward is limited to 25 Million maximum

Officially released on Oct. 12, 2005. VIO2EDIT was created in August 2005 as an IGM Player Database Editor. It is used to edit edit database records, and has New Day for Player, and Search for Player options. ======================================= -- This is a recreation of Trevor Herndon's Violet's Cottage IGM, based upon v5.30p. Done as tribute to my old BBS friend. --------------------------------------- ** View your stats while inside IGM. ** Max Visits per Day is configurable by the sysop, up to 10 visits/day. ** Includes ATM service, accessible at IGM entry. Also usable, at IGM exit, *IF* player is still alive. ** The IGM limits Experience points rewards to 100 Million points maximum per day. ** Players who rename their Weapon or Armour will only get a Lord stats reward once per day, from the event. ** Fights with Violet's Father are not a sure thing. You can get killed! ** IGM writes 3 lines to lognow.txt when IGM is un-installed. Male players normally visit Violet and her sisters. Female players get to visit Ma and Pa, Archon, or Peter.
