• 5 Strength Exercises

If you could only do 5 strength exercises for the rest of your life, which would you
    choose and why?

Deadlifts: This is a complex exercise that has many variants that work all parts of the
body including the deep inner core muscles and the upper back. Overall fat loss +
progressive overload = shreds for days

Squats: Again, another complex exercise with different variants that is essential for
creating a strong stable core and knees. You can emphasize different parts of the body
easily due to different stretches of the muscle (I.e.: toes on a plate for back squats vs
heels on plate back squats, or front squats vs back squats).

Chest Press: Similar to answers above as it is complex in nature and also trains
structural muscles. If you want strong shoulders, tris and bis, this is the best exercise to
recruit all of them and you don˙t have to worry about isolation exercises.

Military Press: Complex, targets both tris and anterior/side delts

Pull ups: bodyweight exercise that is the king of all back exercises. Specifically, this has
helped me to overcome rotator cuff imbalances and build bigger lats and shoulders.
